HART Sport and Streamer Join Forces to Celebrate Local Sport

01 Jul 2024

HART Sport is thrilled to announce our exciting partnership with Australia's fastest-growing community sport streaming platform, Streamer. This collaboration is set to enhance the celebration of local sports across the nation.

For over 30 years, HART Sport has been a cornerstone in the Australian sporting landscape, providing essential equipment to leagues, clubs, and schools at all levels. With more than 700 of our 3500 products proudly Australian-made in our Brisbane headquarters, we have been dedicated to making sport possible across the country.

This new partnership with Streamer, developed by Seven West Media, is an extension of our commitment to local sport. Streamer offers tools for sports organisations to run their own streaming programs, fundraise, and create social media highlights, all while maintaining full control over their content.

Streamer has rapidly expanded since its inception in Western Australia in 2022. It now supports competitions like AAGPS NSW rugby and football, AFL Sydney, AFL Cairns, Essendon District Football League, The Rumble Pro Skateboarding Tour, Little Athletics NSW, and Capital Athletics. Streamer has captured significant moments, from under-12s podium finishes to Paris 2024 representative Torrie Lewis breaking the Australian women’s 100m record in Canberra. Often, HART Sport equipment has been on the ground, helping make these moments possible.

Brent Stewart, Chief Sales Officer of Seven West Media WA, highlighted the importance of this partnership. “The synergy between HART Sport and Streamer is undeniable,” Mr Stewart said. “We are all about helping local sporting clubs thrive and have a really tangible impact on their communities, and this partnership will only strengthen our ability to do that. We have so many great things planned and we can’t wait to get to work.”

Andrew Mills, HART Sport's National Sales Manager, echoed these sentiments. “This partnership represents the perfect union of Australia’s best sporting platform and product, promising to bring enhanced opportunities, engagement and benefits to our national sporting community,”

Streamer accommodates streams from clubs and leagues at any level, regardless of resources. From elite competitions like the WAFL Women’s and under-18 programs to local curling competitions and wheelchair hockey, Streamer aims to provide a platform for any sport seeking one. Since its launch, over 430 clubs have joined the platform, streaming more than 3300 games and raising over $65,000 for community sporting clubs and organisations.

Nick Rynne, Streamer Operations Manager, emphasised the alignment of values between Streamer and HART Sport. “That is what we’re all about, and we’re thrilled to work with partners like HART Sport who share those ambitions,” he said.

“There’s not a person out there involved in sport who hasn’t come across a piece of HART equipment at some point in their journey, and we want to work together to make Streamer just as synonymous with that grassroots Australian sporting experience.”

With this partnership, HART Sport and Streamer are set to make a significant impact on the Australian sporting community, celebrating and supporting the moments that make local sport great.
